| dear friends,
i plan to move to unalakleet, alaska at the end of august. i had
been considering/planning a move to chicago. i will be very sad
to not see my chicago friends often. i will however be in chicago
from august 18th till the 28th and hope to see lots of friend. i
repeat, i need to see lots of people in a little amount of time.

| school is over soon, scratch that - college is over forever -
man ten years ago i thought the end of school would be sweet sans bitter
but bitter is real, and real is good - its not like i want to be van wilder or anything
will i ever come back to chicago? to visit for sure.
will i ever call this big beautiful city home again? i dont know.
never in 22 years did i ever think that i would go back to ak and live in some tiny town and call it home - lately think i might

| a lot has happened in the past months- but lets not worry about that
there are two ways to get free dinner tomorrow evening-
im hearing kathleen norris next week, maya angelou sometime after that,
saw the Electric Six monday night, seeing the Format, and Motion City
Soundtrack saturday- lots going on lately-
i dont know much- ben might be flooded out of school in the next days

| i had a great time in hawai'i, on the big island-
i had a chance to read lots of newspaper (ny times, west hawai'i),
magazine (economist x2), and books (blue like jazz, the prince, return
of the prodigal son, and i started jesus and the eskimo)-
oh and for beard, some short stories- roald dahl's the ubrella man (Skin part deux)
